This course focuses on web security penetration testing, exploring vulnerabilities in web and IoT infrastructures. Its goal is to identify potential actions a malicious user could take and assess the risks associated with privileged access to web and IoT resources.
Hands-on sessions enhance students’ technical skills through the installation and development of security tools, identification and mitigation of vulnerabilities, and execution of web penetration tests. These exercises simulate various threat scenarios. The results obtained help improve access controls, secure vulnerable web and IoT applications, and provide recommendations to strengthen the overall security of these systems.
